A little bit about us

Our family relocated to North Carolina a little over a year ago from the West Coast. We originally moved to Greenville . Since then, we’ve experienced a lot of changes, however, and we have moved to Washington . I work long, unconventional shifts with a 75 min commute one way from work each shift. My work day is 14-16 hours long. My husband and I have recently separated and I am looking for a nanny twice a month to watch my daughter and golden retriever for 16 hours each day while I pick up an overtime shift. The desired child care day will likely be every other Saturday from 11am- 1230am-ish on Sunday morning ( depending on if I get off on time). I would need the nanny to be comfortable with warming up two previously prepared meals for the day, playing with both my daughter and dog, and be comfortable with walks around the block and reminding her to do her bedtime routine and going to bed by 10pm. She is quite independent, does not require assistance with bathing/hygiene, and follows instructions and bedtime without a fuss. Her big brother just moved to college and her family split up. Things are very stressful for both of us as there has been so much change in such a short period of time. I’m just looking for a kind soul to keep her company, someone she looks forward to playing with twice a month. If we got comfortable with a regular nanny, driving to the park or other fun local places could definitely be an option. She loves doing arts and crafts, Harry Potter, reading, and gymnastics. I will pay $200 each day ($400/month) to a reliable nanny who doesn’t cancel and whom my daughter enjoys spending time with.
