A little bit about us

I’m a stay-at-home / homeschooling mom, and my husband is a retired Air Force pilot. We live far from family and need a little extra support. We have 3 kids (ages 5, 2 and 8 months) and two dogs.

Responsibilities include caring for the children while I get tasks done around the home. We are a no-screen household so children should be playing inside or outside, supervised. Scheduling is flexible but day-time help is required.

We require first aid and CPR training, as well as a background check.

If you are passionate about children, we invite you to message us! :)

A little bit about us

Hello - I am a mother of two young children who are amazing. My boy is 8 and daughter is almost 5.

I am a ceo and busy mom who loves to be involved. I outsource my house keeping which has been a struggle and my children do not maximize the before and after school care we pay for - with always feeling behind I know I need a solution for more help and support at home. I have my children enrolled in private school so while they are at school I need house keeping help as well as light meal prep for the children’s dinner and help getting them from school home and cared For. I am seeking a Monday-Friday worker :)

The different types of nanny jobs have different nanny responsibilities. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. There are temporary nanny jobs, even seasonal nanny jobs like summer nanny jobs. Beyond seasonal and temporary nanny positions, there are differences between full-time and part-time nanny jobs. The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in Nova Scotia. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want. If you're looking to explore live in nanny positions, it's even more important to create a shared set of expectations around hours, responsibilities, and what is expected of you when you're not on the clock.
