A little bit about us
We’re looking for a warm, dependable nanny and mommy’s helper for our sweet 2½-year-old son. I’m currently pregnant and due in February, so ideally we’d love to find someone who is also comfortable and experienced with newborns. Once the new baby arrives, our toddler will likely attend preschool part-time.
Our son is funny, energetic, and affectionate. He loves story time, gymnastics, the aquarium, dogs, parks and getting out of the house for activities. He is potty trained, has a consistent daily schedule, and is currently working through a speech delay.
**Responsibilities include:**
* Providing attentive, engaging care for our toddler
* Driving him to activities and outings, including speech therapy twice a week
* Planning age-appropriate play, reading, and activities
* Helping with family laundry
* Light housekeeping, including dishes, keeping the kitchen tidy, and organizing toys/play areas
* Eventually helping with our newborn as our family's needs evolve
Mom helps run our family businesses and has some flexibility to work from home, so this is very much a nanny + extra set of hands role.
We also have a very friendly 4-year-old beagle, so you must be comfortable with dogs.
**Schedule:** Monday–Thursday/ Friday, approximately 8:30/9:00 AM–5:00/5:30 PM
We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a family, loves little kids, is proactive around the house, and is looking for a position that can grow with us as we welcome baby #2.
