A little bit about us

I’m a single dad in Smyrna, looking for a primary caregiver for my 2-year-old son, Israel. I work in brand activation and events, mostly Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with some weekday events. The schedule comes out about once a month, usually one to two weeks ahead, and times can change. Extra days may come up on short notice, so flexibility really matters.

I’m the tour lead and driver, so I leave one to two hours before the posted event time and usually get home one to two hours after. Days are long, often early morning into the evening, sometimes until 10 or 11pm. Some events are out of town, with one to two overnight stays. There’s a private second bedroom, and you’re welcome to rest or stay over any time, including on long days.

On non-event days, I’m home working and handle mornings, school runs, and evenings myself. This schedule runs through about mid December, and I’m working toward being home every night after that.

Israel is settling into a new routine and needs patient, consistent care. Responsibilities are meals and snacks, naps, diaper changes or potty support, play and outside time, keeping his routine, and light tidying of his things.

I’m looking for someone warm, reliable, and seasoned with toddlers, not entry level. CPR and First Aid certification are required. I want someone who knows what to watch for, including signs of an allergic reaction or when a child isn’t feeling right. You don’t need your own car, but you do need reliable transportation to Smyrna. I’m a hands-on dad and would love a caregiver who’s open to sharing what they know, too.

I’m looking for one consistent caregiver, and I’d also welcome a backup for last-minute changes.

A little bit about us

Hi! I am a teacher and my partner is a registered behavior therapist. We absolutely ADORE children! We have 2 beautiful children but are looking for nanny services for our 2 year old for an occasional night out, or overnight stays while traveling. We will typically need childcare on Friday or Saturday nights for a few hours. Our daughter is in bed by 8 pm each night, so literally just having someone home with her. When we travel out of town, we will need childcare for Thursday-Sunday, in our home. We will need someone with reliable transportation to transport her to and from daycare. She can be dropped off between 7-8 AMand must be picked up by 5:30 PM. Her meals can be prepped, but she will have a food list due to having allergies, if you decide to eat something different. Our son is typically with his dad on Weekends. We do have a maltipoo, as well, that will need to be cared for, but if needed can be taken elsewhere. We are looking for someone to start sooner than later so that we are all acclimated before our next travel dates of July 21-24th. We do require non-smoking personnel, as both of our kids are allergic. Both of them also have eczema. Experience with eczema will be great, but we can definitely lay out some things for assistance. We LOVE movie nights, playgrounds,
crafts, and dance parties. If you are interested, please reach out to me. We look forward to meeting you!
