A little bit about us

Hi! My son just turned 3, and we live in Holding Village in Wake Forest. I’m looking for someone to help with my child on Tuesday and Thursday evenings while I’m at work.

I would need you to pick him up around 5:30 PM, take him to a nearby playground and play with him for about an hour, then bring him home. I’ll have dinner prepared, so you would just need to warm it up and help him with dinner. Afterward, I’d like you to give him a bath, read a few books with him, and put him to bed around 8 PM.

Once he’s asleep, you’re welcome to watch TV, read, do homework, or just relax until I get home—as long as things stay quiet enough for him to sleep. There really isn’t any housework involved. I’d only ask that you wipe up any food or drinks he spills.

I’d also love someone who can gently teach him good manners while playing, encourage him to clean up his own toys, and set appropriate boundaries when needed. I’m completely fine with some TV time too. Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who will be warm and affectionate with him—lots of smiles, encouragement and praise, while also correcting him when necessary. He loves affection, so a little hug while sitting together would be wonderful (I don’t mean carrying or lifting him).

I usually get home around 10 PM, and I’ll pay you for the entire time from when you pick him up until I get home. I’ll make sure to pay you promptly each day.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, I’d love to talk and see if we might be a good fit!

A little bit about us

Looking for help for my two children the week of October 7th. My usual nanny is sick and we just relocated to the area, so we don’t have any family to help us out. I work from home so really just need someone to keep my kids occupied so I can take meetings in the morning until nap time. Would be looking for everyday this week, roughly 8:00-1:00pm but can be flexible!

My kids are Duke (3) and Sloane (almost 2 - January). They are relatively easy, they love being outside, going for walks and going to the neighborhood playground. They enjoy arts and crafts and because of the situation, I’m flexible on TV time!
