A little bit about us…

I have 2 kids needing after school care. The right person should be able to pick up my 4 year old from preschool, and my 7 year old from the bus stop. Hours would be Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. I also need help keeping up the housework (dishes, laundry, cleaning). We have a dog and cat. Occasionally there may be a 10 year old girl joining as their half sister comes to visit every other weekend.

A little bit about us…

Hi! We are the Mehringers.

Drew (husband/dad) works at the University of Oregon.

Morgan (wife/mom) works from home. We are expecting our third child this October, so I will need more help with my other two children.

Maddox is our 3 and a half year old son. He's a very sensitive boy and somewhat serious. He loves imaginary play and exploring outside. He currently goes to an in-home daycare 5 days a week, 8:30-12pm. His language and social/emotional skills are a bit behind. As a first step to help him catch up, he has recently started speech therapy. I'm exploring the idea of pulling back his attendance at his current daycare so that he can get more individual attention with hopes that his speech and social skills will improve.

Mila is our almost 2 year old daughter. She is a sweet little lady, but knows what she wants. Unlike her brother, she talks nonstop! She's currently at home full time, but it's getting harder and harder for me to give her the amount of attention she deserves while working from home and while pregnant.

We are looking for someone to watch them 2-3 days a week (no particular days in mind) in the mornings (8-12ish). I'm especially interested in nanny sharing with another family or two with a little boy(s) around Maddox's age (3-5 years old).
