Week A: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 3:00 to 6:30 PM, plus occasional Saturdays with advance notice.
Week B: Monday and Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:30 PM.
No coverage is needed Wednesday or Thursday either week.
Pay is based on experience, with 12 guaranteed paid hours every week, even in lighter weeks, so your income stays steady. Occasional Saturday, holiday, or evening help is always scheduled in advance, and anything beyond 12 hours is paid at the same rate. Additional hours may be available during summer.
Responsibilities include school pickup at 3:10 PM, driving her home or to activities in the Valley, preparing after-school snacks and a light dinner, keeping her engaged with fun, age-appropriate play and outings, and light kid-related tasks like her laundry and tidying her room and play areas.
You'll need a safe, reliable vehicle with room for a booster seat, a valid CA driver's license, a clean driving record, great references, and the ability to pass a background check. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
You'll have a consistent weekly schedule, just one child to care for, and a dad who values and respects your time. I work from home, so I'm nearby if needed, but you'll be fully in charge during your hours. I'm looking for someone long-term who is punctual, communicates well, and genuinely enjoys kids. If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you!
