Warm and Engaging Nanny Needed for Two Sweet Sisters in Santa Rosa

We’re a loving family in Santa Rosa looking for a nurturing, experienced nanny to care for our two daughters (ages 4 and 6). Our ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of experience, a positive attitude, and creative ideas to keep our girls engaged, active, and inspired.

We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a child’s world—playing, learning, and laughing together. A love for animals is a must, as we have a friendly dog who appreciates a daily neighborhood walk.

Daily responsibilities include:

Preschool pick-up/drop-off

Light meal prep and tidying

Children’s laundry

Afternoon care and play

We’re currently looking for help weekday afternoons (3–6 p.m., Monday–Friday), with occasional mornings, evenings, or weekends. For the right person, there's also the opportunity to grow into a broader household management role with additional hours and responsibilities.

We’re hoping to find someone who’s looking for a longer-term position and can become a consistent, trusted part of our family’s routine. While the official start date is flexible, we’d love to begin with some training beforehand to help everyone ease into the transition.

If this sounds like a fit, we’d love to hear from you!

We are a warm and active family seeking an experienced, loving, and reliable nanny to care for our two wonderful boys, ages 5.5 and 2, and friendly Cavapoo dog named Waffles. Our ideal nanny is nurturing, proactive, and organized, with a passion for creating a safe, fun, and enriching environment for our kids to grow and thrive.

Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging the boys in age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and play.
- Assisting with school pick-up and drop-off for our 5.5-year-old.
- Managing daily routines, such as meal preparation for the kids, nap schedules, and bedtime prep.
- Light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying up toys, laundry, and keeping their spaces organized.
- Providing occasional care for our small dog, including short walks or feeding as needed.

This is a payroll position offering stability and professionalism. The role includes two weeks of paid vacation per year, ensuring a balanced and rewarding experience.

We value open communication, dependability, and someone who can truly feel like part of our family. Experience working with toddlers and school-aged children is essential, and a genuine love for animals is a plus.

If you are caring, attentive, and excited to support our family, we would love to hear from you! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of two sweet boys while working in a positive and supportive home environment.

A little bit about us…

I have a beautiful baby girl named Zoe who will be 16 months old when we'd need a nanny. Zoe is a happy baby and rarely cries. We need someone to care for Zoe from 8:30- 3:30 or 4:00pm, Monday and Friday. My husband works from home and I am a teacher. We take COVID seriously and are fully vaccinated and boosted only want someone taking care of our baby who is the same. We have one cat who would be here but the nanny would not be responsible for. We are looking for someone who loves kids, and has a similar childcare philosophy we do.

A little bit about us…

Sweet little family in north west Santa Rosa seeking a nanny for 2.5 days a week! 8:30-5 2 days, and a half day . The days themselves are flexible. Would love to work with someone for the next year.

We have a 1 year old and a 4 year old. Our 4 year old is going to Cali in Windsor next year and we live in north west Santa Rosa. I’m looking for someone to help us two days a week, 8-5 who can commit to staying with us for about a year! Until the baby is 2 and goes to his preschool. The days will go roughly like this : arrive, play with the baby, feed him snacks, go to the park, come back, feed him lunch, and then put him down for a nap. While he’s sleeping, id like the person who joins us to help straighten up toys, help with kids laundry, and sometimes be loading the dishwasher. It’s usually basic kid related tasks. Once he wakes up, take him with you to pick up our daughter in Windsor. Come back and feed snacks, hang out, play, do art.

I work from home so typically I’ll be there, but will be gone for things like gym, dr appt, etc regularly. We have two dogs also!
