A little bit about us…

We’re looking for a part-time nanny for our daughter, who turns 3 in June. For up to two years, until kindergarten. 2 days weekly and possibly up to 3. 8-hour days from 8:30 AM.

Our daughter is smart, playful, and active. She thrives with someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with her and who can help her stay stimulated and happy while we work. We tried K2 but she wasn’t ready and we’ll try K3 in August. If it doesn’t work out, we’ll wait until 2026. Meanwhile, we want a professional, consistent caregiver who can support her growth at home. Both parents WFH and care will be in our home.

✅ We’re Looking For:
- A female nanny who is physically active, warm, and outgoing
- Actively play and engage with toddler not just supervise
- Encourages both independent play and structured activities, indoors and outdoors
- Emotionally mature and respectful – we appreciate kindness and a fun personality but are looking for work boundaries

📍 Job Responsibilities:
Child-Focused Care:
- Plan and participate in active, hands-on play (park outings, driveway chalk, ball games, imaginative play, crafts, puzzles, etc.)
- Limit screen time and encourage movement, creativity, and learning
Light Housekeeping (toddler only):
- Clean up after play and meals and trash
- Wipe surfaces or vacuum crumbs as needed
- Frequently check and change pull ups
Light Meal Prep (toddler only):
- Offer a variety of snacks during the day
- Wash and prepare fruits or simple snacks (e.g., open a banana, cut up an apple, offer water/milk)
- Put away unused items (like milk) back in the fridge
Presence & Professionalism:
- Minimize personal phone use – no shopping, social media, or texting during work hours unless it’s an emergency
- Be attentive and present with our child

📌 Requirements:
Besides Nanny Lane requests checked off (like driving)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Non-smoker/drug user
💲 Pay:
- $17/hour and up, depending on experience and fit
