My son is an incredible 27 month old boy who is so smart and strong willed. I would love for someone to be educated on Montessori practices as well.
Not sure on what days just yet as I am very flexible but I imagine 3 days a week at 3 hours. Responsibilities are really just 100% focus on my son and his engagement with life and the world around him.

A little bit about us
Our home is calm, creative, and inspired by a gentle, Montessori approach to parenting. We’re less about strict routines and more about presence - giving our son the space to explore, ask, notice, and grow without rushing toward outcomes. We believe the quality of attention matters most.
We also have one affectionate Australian Shepherd, so comfort around dogs is a must.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience with toddlers (18+ months)
• 2 full days/week (9AM–5PM), with potential for additional hours Mon/Wed afternoons
• Comfortable with dogs
• Gentle, grounded, and reliable caregiver
• Help with light household tasks (dishes, laundry, tidying up)
What We Offer:
• Competitive hourly rate, paid weekly or bi-weekly
• Guaranteed hours
• Paid holidays
• A thoughtful, respectful home where your presence and care are valued
Extra Points If You:
• Have CPR certification
• Speak a second language
• Are familiar with Montessori or gentle/respectful parenting
• Find joy in simply being with a child as they discover the world
If you’re someone who values presence over pressure, and connection over control, we’d love to meet you.
Be well,
Ryan, Kari, and Hunter Hoover
