A little bit about us…

Consistent schedule throughout the week, anywhere from 15-25 hours per week depending on the schedule that's agreed upon.

Potential hourly configurations:
1) Early morning helper: arrive at 6:30a, prepare breakfast for the kids, make and pack snacks and lunch, cover taking care of boys for one hour while parents do morning self care. Take kids to school. Return for one hour or tidying and organizing (not cleaning anything other than kitchen area - we have cleaners). Putting toys away and organizing draws we view differently than cleaning.

2) Afternoon Cover: Arrive to do tidying and organizing one hour before picking up kids. Pick kids up from school. Take to park or home for home play. Do bath time and prepare dinners.

3) (1) or (2) + 1-2 evenings OR weekend day hours for parent together time.

All hours add up quickly to 15-25 hours per week.

Our boys are amazing, brilliant, smart, stubborn, willful, perfectly well adapted kids. They love playing outside, playing trouble, chess (they're both already quite good), bird bingo, building, hide and seek, reading fact books, silly story books, and learning.

We believe in being direct, setting boundaries that are firm and clear with loving kindness, teaching independence and thinking but knowing when there needs to be an adult making the decision vs "child led". 6 and 4 year olds cannot decide if they should wear a hat when it's 40 degrees outside. That's your job.

Our perfect person knows their number one job is to keep our kids safe and loved and to show up as adult. We LOVE all the extras (loving to play with them, teaching, art, and all those things), but safety, love, and adult intelligence are table stakes.

We're originally from NYC but are here in Hendo to stay. If this sounds like a family you might want to be a long term part of, hit us up. But if this doesn't sound like your speed or beliefs, we wish you the best of luck with another family. ☮️❤️🤘

Pick up both boys, take them back to my house and walk dog. Then if they are hungry, you can make them something to eat. I am not picky about what they want, and they will let you know. It is usually easy food. Homework can wait until I get home. You won't have to do much.
