We are in our early 30's and have a biological 11.5 month old girl, and two adopted sons, ages 8 and 11. We recently moved to Raleigh, NC to be closer to family but would really benefit from having some extra help on a day to day basis. We also have two dogs, one that is 3 years old and one that is 10 years old. My husband and I are both licensed clinical social workers who work in the mental health field. My husband works at a local hospital and works 13 hour days on Thursdays and Fridays, as well as 13 hours days every other weekend. He also works in private practice on the days he is not at the hospital during the week, Monday - Wednesday. Typically he is working from home, sporadically, on Monday mornings. I work in private practice 4 days a week for about 3-5 hours a day, and while I am mostly in the office I may be working from home on Fridays or as I am able. My sons will be in summer camp or at school most days but would be home on holidays, or if they are sick. They typically would be home around 4 PM on days they go to camp or are in school. My daughter would need care 2 mornings a week. We think having an extra person around times of transition during the afternoon, dinner and bedtime routines would be very helpful. We have two big family rooms full of games, crafts, books and activities for you to use to engage the kids as well as a big back yard to play in. We have a great neighborhood to walk in or ride bikes, the that has a nearby pool and pond to fish in. We live close to downtown Raleigh and are close to lots of shopping, food, cultural events and historic places as well as great parks, rivers and lakes to get a taste of the country and outdoors as well. Our two boys do have a history of trauma and diagnosed ADHD, as well as Anxiety. We are looking for someone who is patient but also energetic to help us meet their needs.

We are a family of five, including 2 fur babies, living in North Raleigh. We currently have 2 wonderful nannies/doula who split the week as sometimes long days are needed. While we love them, one has an upcoming postpartum client in June so we are currently looking for a temporary, part-time nanny or doula to fill in for her for June and July until she returns to us.
Days, hours and rate negotiable based on experience and current market rate. Flexibility with days and hours required with start times as early as 7AM and sometimes going as late as 7PM depending on the day/week.
We are looking for someone with at least 4 years experience with primarily (even better if exclusively) infants who can not only provide loving care for our daughter, but assist with feeding (including competency at introducing solids), hygiene, developmentally appropriate play, loves the outdoors for daily walks, take to classes/activities outside the home and facilitate good sleep habits. While specific care for the dogs is not required, our nanny must be comfortable with them and on days we work outside the home, help with letting them out/keeping an eye on them in the fenced backyard. We’d also love someone who could assist with light household chores like tidying up, laundry, or light meal prep, as needed. Open communication is essential.

Need someone to start next week 2/6 for 6-15 hours a week) This is generally broken into 2-4 hours a day 3-4x a week. You would be watching both our boys in our home!
