A little bit about us…

Hours approx.
Monday-Thursday 1-4:30 and possibly some Fridays.

Our oldest is in school until 2:45
Our youngest would need to be picked up from preschool at 1pm Monday-Thursday.

We are easy going people. We do try and limit screen time and sugar. We are looking for someone who is honest, kind and genuinely loves kids. In the past we have been lucky enough to find care givers who love ours kids as if they are family. We aren't looking for someone to help take care of household duties, we just want our kids to play, learn and grow!

A little bit about us…

Hello! Our son Ash was born at the end of July. He’s your typical baby, still growing and eating, sleeping and pooping.

We are hoping to find a reliable part-time nanny who can be flexible with their schedule. We’d also love to find someone who speaks Vietnamese, as our child is half. My husband works a typical 8-5 job, but needs to leave most mornings at 7. I (baby mama) work super weird and inconsistent hours, anywhere from early mornings to late evenings. I also only work 2-3 days a week for a couple hours. We are members of the Multnomah Athletic Club and both avid athletes, general having practices in the evenings so this may include a handful of evenings here and there, as well as a date night every once and awhile. So hours could be anywhere from 10-20 a week.

General expectations: take care of baby! And generally keeping things tidy at home (no need to deep clean). We do have two dogs (1 big and 1 small) who we may ask you to feed and let out into our fenced yard, but nothing else. We want our nanny to be up to date with all vaccinations (including COVID and flu). Also having reliable transportation and previous experience taking care of newborns are very important.

A little bit about us…

We need a nanny part time during the day to watch our infant daughter (6 weeks), as mom is going back to work (remotely - from home). Mom will be home, but will need someone to watch, help feed, and care for the baby until dad gets home from work. Roughly 4 hours a day during the week. Hours will likely be from about 10am to 2pm.

We have a park at the end of our street and a shopping center around the corner; so the location is convenient for walks and outings. May like some help with light chores like the baby’s laundry, restocking changing table, etc., but mostly just need help caring for our little girl while we work. Please note that we have a sweet 30lb Australian Labradoodle female as well, and you might need to let her out (in our back yard) from time to time. We are trying to follow the BabyWise method of sleep training, so our little girl is currently on a feed/sleep schedule with short wake windows.

There will likely be a need for additional hours in the future (caring for her when we go out) and possibly vacation assistance.
