About the Family
We are a professional Christian family in Lancaster, PA seeking an experienced, reliable nanny for our toddlers, ages three and one and a half.
As parents, we set clear expectations and follow through consistently, and we expect our children to respond with respect and good manners. Our kids spend their days reading, creating, listening to music, and playing outside in all seasons.
Our 1.5 year old enjoys music, anything with wheels (cars, trucks, trains, etc), and pots and pans! Our 3 year old loves arts and crafts, books, all things ballet and “fancy dresses”!
We value:
Self-directed learning and independence within clear, consistent boundaries.
Respect for the child’s focus and play, with minimal unnecessary interruptions.
Supporting children to solve problems on their own (within reason)
Firm but respectful boundaries and predictable daily routines.
Manners, kindness, and respect toward adults and other children in words, tone, and behavior.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for two young children.
Maintain consistent daily routines
Engage in reading, play, and developmentally appropriate activities.
Perform light housekeeping when time permits (dishes, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, tidying common areas).
Professional Requirements
Relevant experience required (professional nanny, teaching, or significant childcare/parenting experience). Infant and toddler experience is preferred.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Comfortable working in a home where both parents work from home, remotely.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Ability to pass all required background checks and clearances
Strong professionalism
