As the primary guardian travels for work some weeks, we need a caring individual to be part of our family during these times, providing oversight, warmth, and safety at night.
Your Role:
Be a Friendly Face: Greet our son as he returns from school, ensuring he feels supported.
Meal Preparation: Whip up healthy dinners that fuel a growing teenager.
Evening Companionship: Encourage and oversee his evening routine, ensuring homework and prep for the next day are on track.
Household Harmony: Assist with light housekeeping and laundry, keeping our home welcoming and organized.
Overnight Security: Offer peace of mind by staying overnight, ensuring our son's safety.
Morning Routine: Help kickstart his day with a positive nudge to get ready and off to school on time.
Support in Unexpected Situations: Be ready to step in should he need picking up from school due to illness or other emergencies, providing care until we're home.

Schedule:
Active Hours: 4:00 p.m.–8:00 8:00pm and 5:30 a.m.–6:30 am.

Compensation: a competitive hourly rate for active hours and a flat rate for overnight stays, with additional pay for emergency situations.

Responsibilities
- Full care for infant and toddler
- Feeding, diapering, and nap routines. Toilet training for 2 year old.
- Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities (play, reading, outdoor time). No screen time.
- Managing toddler transitions and age-appropriate discipline
- Preparing simple meals/snacks for children
- Light child-related housekeeping (bottles, toys, children’s laundry)
- Communicating daily updates to parents
Ideal Qualifications:
- Proven experience with infants and toddlers (both ages required)
- CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Reliable transportation, and live within meaningful distance (not more than 15 miles away)
- Non-smoker
- Comfortable with parents working from home
- Willing to undergo background check and provide at least 2 references
- Not allergic to cats (we have 2 indoor cats. no pet care needed)
