A little bit about us…

Norfolk family needs a part-time sitter for 2-3 three weeknights from 5-9:00pm at our Ghent home. Some day shift hours may be needed when child doesn't have school. One day may include pickup at school about 8 miles away and driving in sitter's car. Responsibilities would include heating food/feeding child, replenish snacks in backpack for school, and tidying up. We'll need some laundry help (child's clothing) now and again. Someone who can help out with homework (homework is basic reading and math with child) is a plus. Also, if you can braid/style hair-- even more of a plus! Mom is single with a demanding job. Child is energetic, happy, and smart. Mom is heavily connected in the community and gets some cool perks that she will share. If you do right by us, you will have a glowing reference when you are ready to move on.
We follow CDC guidelines and are both vaccinated against Covid and flu. We want a sitter who does the same. No smokers, no vapers. We are a smoke and pet free home.We need someone on the southside and over 21 years old.

A little bit about us…

My family is seeking a full time nanny for when I return to work from maternity leave at the end of November. We have two children, one will be 3 months old at that time, the other 22 months old. Our 22 month old has special needs and developmental delays. We are looking for someone who will be comfortable working with both of our children throughout the day for mealtimes, tummy time, walks, etc. I work from home so I will be there to lend a hand here and there. We live in Norfolk and would need care weekly 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. Care would need to start the week after Thanksgiving, but best if we could have a few trial days beforehand to ensure that schedule and personalities are a good match. We look forward to hearing from you!
