I am looking for a compassionate and dependable live in nanny to help care for my 3 year old son, Holden. He is a sweet, energetic little boy who attends Montessori school Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The weekday schedule focuses on his morning and evening routine. In the morning, I need help starting around 6:30 AM with getting him up, preparing breakfast, getting him dressed, and helping him get ready for school. I typically take him to school around 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM.
I usually pick him up from school around 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM. In the evening, I need help having dinner ready, feeding him, cleaning up after meals, playtime, occasional bath time, and helping him get ready for bed around 8:00 PM.
Full day availability is required on Saturdays. We enjoy taking Holden to playgrounds, fairs, festivals, splash pads, water parks, museums, and family friendly activities. I am looking for someone active and engaged who enjoys outings with young children.
The position includes two days off each week, scheduled during the week. My partner lives in San Diego, and we coparent between the East Coast and West Coast. The nanny must be comfortable traveling between Northern Virginia and San Diego during the summer as needed.
Additional responsibilities include preparing meals and snacks for Holden, light child related laundry, keeping his room and play areas organized, and helping maintain a safe environment.
The ideal candidate has experience caring for toddlers or preschool age children, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it, and an interest in a stable, long term position.
Private living accommodations, room, bathroom, utilities, and meals are included. Salary is competitive and based on experience.

Our home has both an upstairs and downstairs, and while I’ll mostly be working upstairs, I’ll have the downstairs set up with everything you would need.
I’m looking to start with care two days a week from 7 AM to 1 PM, with the possibility of adding a third day on weeks when my fiancé is traveling for work. Additionally, I’d love to have one or two Saturday nights per month available for potential date nights.

I’m really not sure how to navigate this site but I’m slightly flexible on my price. Whoever I decide to watch my child would not have to do much as my child is really easy going, give her toys, books, diaper, or a bottle and she is good to go. I need to be at work by 7am but I’m usually off before 5pm. Additionally, my house is clean. So when I say light housekeeping, I mean LIGHT housekeeping.
Either way, I’m looking for a professional. If you are are uncomfortable with my price I would expect you to communicate that.
