A little bit about us…

Currently a 20 month boy with a newborn due end of January. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which our kids can thrive. You will be expected to plan and lead activities and prepare lunch and snacks.

Live-out or live-in position available.

Duties and responsibilities

Create and follow a daily schedule and routine for children
Prepare and serve lunch and snacks
Engage children in age-appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors (pending severe weather)
Light housekeeping duties related to children’s care such as picking up toys and cleaning up after lunch and snacks

Requirements and qualifications

Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date childcare practices
Physical stamina to keep up with active children
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references

Live-Out Pay and Benefits

$20/hr until newborn arrives, then pay increase to $30/hr, paid weekly.
Schedule: 1 week on weekdays Tuesday - Monday 8:30am - 4:30pm and 1 week off with opportunities to work on weekends and off weeks if interested.
Paid holidays that would fall on a workday (New Year’s Day, MLK, Presidents’ Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4, Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day) after first two work weeks completed.
3 paid sick days per year after first two work weeks completed
5 days of paid vacation after first 6 calendar months completed, additional 5 days of paid vacation after 12 calendar months completed, 10 days paid vacation for each year after the first calendar year

Private furnished bedroom and private bathroom.
Groceries paid for.
$200/month gas stipend.
