A little bit about us…

We both work the same hours, sometimes our jobs do have us staying a little past 4:30, the latest is 5:00. Husband works a second job, I am currently pregnant with my 4th, after some time afterwards I will be switching careers. That career will involve me working longer hours, that will not be until next year of course after I take some time for what I need to take care of this year. But eventually we will need someone with flexible hours as the career change will have us needing it. Our oldest son is very energetic, daughter is very to herself and needs time to warm up to new people. Our one year old is the sweetest and likes most people. Depending. We rarely bring them around new people, it's been strictly family. Our children have both English and Spanish spoken to them, having someone bilingual would be nice. But it is not a must.

A little bit about us…

We are looking for a kind, gentle nanny who may have some experience in parenting kids with trauma and associated behaviors. We are looking to have another "grown-up" added to the house so we can have an extra pair of eyes for increased supervision of our children, at times caring for the children without my husband and I here and times when we may be here. This would include light housekeeping/organizing, helping get dinner on the table, helping run kids to and from appointments and activities, possible help to our teenager with homework, etc. We have one aussiedoodle who is a scaredy cat but also a big, sweet baby once he gets scratches and love, too.

Our kids aren't always easy but they are such sweethearts and we all love and value any sitters that come through our door! So many times we've had sitters become like additional family members.

This would be Monday through Friday 2:30-8pm and occasional weekend hours.

We move back home to North Dakota this summer, so unless you follow us the job would be complete at that point. :)

The different types of nanny jobs have different nanny responsibilities. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in North Dakota.
