A little bit about us
Responsibilities include preparing lunch and one snack, supervising indoor/outdoor play and local outings, overseeing midday nap/quiet time, light child-related housekeeping and laundry, and letting our 6 month doodle puppy out for potty breaks and play; our home is calm, tidy, and screen-minimal. In summer you’ll care for both boys full-day (the 2.5 year-old naps about 2 hours; the 5.5 year-old has quiet time), and once kindergarten begins the role will focus mainly on the 2.5 year-old.
Our 5.5 year old is energetic, loves reading, building and indoor playgrounds and will start kindergarten in the fall; our 2.5 year old is curious, cuddly and active, enjoys books and his strider bike, and naps after lunch.
We also have a sweet 12 year poodle mix and a well trained 6 month doodle—comfort with a large-breed puppy is required.
The ideal candidate is present, kind, patient, reliable, punctual, a clear communicator, and practices emotional validation with firm, consistent boundaries; over time we’d love for this person to take the boys on morning outings (museums, parks, pools, etc.) and become a valued part of our family.

LOCATION: We are located in Gilbert.
SCHEDULE: Currently seeking part-time Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8am-12pm (this is the minimum, we are flexible to open up more days of the week and longer hours if the fit is right)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Our ideal person shows up on time during the agreed upon days/hours and communicates well if there is a change in plans. It is crucial that our nanny genuinely value their impact on our children/family and reflects this through their interactions/play with our kids. We are looking for someone who can anticipate our household needs and take action to complete the tasks before an issue arises. We are looking for someone that will follow the systems we have in place to keep our house running smoothly. We are looking for someone to help free up time/stress from both parents but especially mom.
More specifically this includes:
-enriching children with age-appropriate play including dancing/singing/reading/acting/toys
-cleaning areas/decluttering as they are encountered and prior to/after children play
-helping plan/shop/cook meals
-doing laundry from start to finish
-getting kids dressed/snacks ready/shoes/sunscreen prior to outings
-washing and putting away dishes
-join mom on outings to assist with kids (zoo, park, museum, etc.)
-assistance with other small household projects/tasks (moving furniture so an area can be cleaned, taking inventory of things so shopping lists can be made)
If this sounds like a good fit, feel free to message me! I know this is wordy but we are happy to answer questions and want to set clear expectations. Thanks!

A little bit about us
We're biased, but we think they're the funnest, most creative kids.
Our kids love fort-building, play-dough, coloring, and park days, so someone who genuinely enjoys imaginative play and getting outside will feel right at home with us.
We need flexible hours with a focus on bedtime support, light meal prep, and keeping the kids happily engaged while I work from home.
My husband works remotely and travels occasionally, so a warm and reliable presence makes a real difference for our family.
We're easygoing and want this to feel like a great fit for everyone. We hire through an agency. If you're patient, flexible, and love little ones, we'd love to chat!
