Family Assistant / Summer Nanny (Ages 5 & 7) – Camas, WA

We’re seeking a reliable, proactive, and energetic Family Assistant / Summer Nanny to support our family and care for our two adventurous, playful boys (ages 5 and 7). Both boys love sports, riding bikes, art and science projects, and our blow up water slide ;)

This role is ideal for someone who loves being active, getting outside, and keeping a household running smoothly. We’re looking for a true self-starter—someone who anticipates needs, notices details, genuinely enjoys checking items off a to-do list, and can inspire two young boys to get outside and enjoy summer livin'!

We have some summer travel so here are the specific dates we need (M-F only!) ~7-8 hours per day:

• June 22 - Jun 24
• June 29 - July 1
• July 13 - July 24
• August 3 - August 14

• Long-term opportunity available (if interested): we anticipate hiring an after-school nanny/family assistant when school resumes in August. This would be M-F about 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities
• Full-day childcare on select days with two energetic, outdoor-loving boys.
• Supporting household tasks during lighter childcare days, including:
• Children’s laundry
• Grocery shopping and light household organization
• Creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment that encourages play and exploration

Ideal Candidate
• Active and loves spending time outdoors
• Highly dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• A natural self-starter who anticipates family needs
• Organized and enjoys task completion and routines
• Clean driving record, valid drivers license and comfortable transporting children
• Strong references from prior families
• Warm, confident, and playful with kids
