A little bit about us

Nanny Needed – Mahwah, NJ / Suffern, NY Area (30+ hrs/week, Live-In Optional)

Father of three is seeking a warm, patient, upbeat nanny (ideally age 30–40+) to help care for my kids. I’m still finalizing the exact schedule, but the role will likely be 30+ hours per week. Live-in may be considered but is not required.

I’m looking for someone who is happy, smiling, engaging, and proactive—someone who enjoys being part of an active family and thinking ahead to help the day run smoothly.

About the children

9-year-old son – a little autistic like we all are and incredibly sweet. He loves to snuggle and cheer people on. He enjoys building with Legos and would happily watch too much TV if allowed. He benefits from someone patient and attentive who can pick up on his subtle cues (for example, recognizing when he needs to use the bathroom).

7-year-old daughter – Energetic, creative, and full of personality. She loves art, games, jokes, and conversation, and thrives with one-on-one attention from someone willing to play and engage with her.

2-year-old son – A happy little guy who is learning quickly and loves fire trucks, cars, and exploring. He rarely cries and is very easygoing.

What We’re Looking For

Someone who enjoys actively engaging with children

Preparing food, snacks, and drinks for the children without needing to be asked

Coming up with games, activities, and creative play

Joining us on family outings and helping keep things organized

Being attentive, observant, and proactive in caring for the kids

What We Don’t Want

Someone on their phone the entire time

A negative attitude or forced interactions
