I have done A+ with first graders. where I built friendships, helped with their homework, and made sure they were doing the right thing. I also volunteered with Special Olympics, where our Silex kids are able to participate in running. throwing, etc.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

For indoor activities, I love playing pretend considering that is all I could do as an only child. I also love coloring, puzzles, and simply doing whatever. For outdoor activities, I love drawing on the sidewalk with chalk, playing soccer, volleyball, going to the pool, or even running around a sprinkler.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is being there for the child, as well as communication with the family. Spending valuable time that the child can grow from, having someone to laugh with, and just hang out with, is the important part of nannying.
