The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny or babysitter is making children feel safe, cared for, and understood. Children do best when they are in a positive environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and able to be themselves. I believe it is important to be patient, dependable, attentive, and kind while also creating fun and engaging activities that help children learn and grow.
I also understand how important trust is for parents. Families want to know their children are being cared for by someone responsible who will follow routines, communicate well, and make good decisions. I take that responsibility seriously and always try to create a happy, respectful, and safe environment for every child I care for.
I enjoy helping children stay active, creative, and positive through reading, sports, games, crafts, homework help, and encouraging good manners and confidence. My goal is always to make both children and parents feel comfortable, supported, and appreciated.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite babysitting moments was helping care for a younger child who was having a really difficult day and missing their parents. Instead of letting them stay upset, I spent time talking with them, reading stories, playing games, and helping them feel safe and comfortable. By the end of the evening, they were smiling, laughing, and excited to show me their favorite toys and books.
Moments like that remind me why I enjoy working with children so much. I love being someone kids can feel safe around while also making sure they are having fun, learning, and staying active. Whether it’s helping with homework, playing basketball outside, doing crafts, reading stories, or simply listening to them talk about their day, I enjoy building positive relationships with children and creating a caring environment for them.
Being involved in church and sports has taught me patience, responsibility, kindness, and leadership, and I try to bring those qualities into every family I help.
