Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as a babysitter on and off for the past 6 years. I have experience working with kids with special needs in home and school settings (I was a behavioral interventionist in the past). I also most recently worked for a non profit based in New York which developed programs for kids from underserved communities.

I love to encourage balanced playtime with creativity and enriching exercises. I often include art making of any kind, music time, and any outdoor activities!

I was a behavioral interventionalist for Kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder, meaning that I facilitated my own sessions to build communication and verbal skills.

I had one of my non-verbal/ minimally verbal kids say I love you to his family member for the first time after working with him for a year! The most rewarding experience ever.
