More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over 20 years of experience caring for and teaching young children in preschool and childcare settings. As a lead teacher in transitional preschool, I support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth while creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. I also have experience managing daily routines, helping with transitions, outdoor play, meals, rest time, and building strong, supportive relationships with both children and families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy spending time outdoors with children, exploring nature, going for walks, visiting playgrounds, and encouraging open-ended play. I also love reading stories, arts and crafts, sensory play, baking simple recipes together, and helping children learn through everyday routines and hands-on experiences. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, curious, and free to explore.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most to me is creating a calm, consistent, and fun environment where children feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. Kids thrive when they know what to expect, feel understood, and can enjoy the simple parts of childhood—playing outside, being silly, exploring, and feeling genuinely cared for.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience supporting children with a variety of developmental, behavioral, and social-emotional needs within preschool and childcare settings. This includes helping children with transitions, emotional regulation, sensory needs, communication challenges, and building independence through consistent routines and supportive guidance. I work closely with families and other educators to create an environment where each child feels safe, understood, and successful.
In addition to my professional experience, I also have personal experience supporting neurodivergent children as a parent, which has given me an even deeper understanding of patience, flexibility, routine, and meeting each child where they are.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny memories was taking the kids to Captain Dusty’s Ice Cream on opening day for their first ice cream of the season. It became such a fun tradition, and one year we even ended up in the local newspaper. I love those simple moments that become the memories children hold onto.
