I am also First Aid and CPR certified, allowing me to respond quickly and responsibly in emergency situations to ensure children’s safety and well-being.

In addition, I am currently in the process of completing my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, which further strengthens my understanding of early childhood development, behavior guidance, and age-appropriate learning strategies.

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel valued, supported, and free to be themselves. Every child deserves patience, kindness, encouragement, and individualized care that helps them grow emotionally, socially, and academically.

I also believe that building a strong partnership with parents is essential. Open communication, reliability, and consistency help ensure children receive the best possible care both at home and with their nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

I understand that every child learns and communicates differently. I strive to follow each child’s routine, adapt activities to meet their developmental needs, and use positive reinforcement to encourage confidence and independence. I work closely with parents to ensure consistency in care and to support each child’s unique goals and preferences.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a caregiver is seeing a child’s face light up when they accomplish something new for the first time. Whether it’s taking their first steps, learning a new word, completing a puzzle, or proudly showing off a piece of artwork, those milestones are incredibly rewarding to witness.

I also love building strong, trusting relationships with children. Knowing they feel safe, happy, and excited to learn each day reminds me why I chose to work with children. Being able to support their growth, celebrate their achievements, and make a positive difference in their lives is the most meaningful part of being a nanny.
