The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny for me is safety, communication, and satisfaction. My goal every time I step into a child’s house is allowing them to experience a fun, safe, and comfortable environment while their parent (s) are away. In addition, it is important to me that the needs of the parent (s) are being met. I understand how important simple requests of you are to be completed. Through open and frequent communication with/from you, I can make sure you are satisfied with my work for you and make sure your little one is taken care of while you aren’t able to be there!

I have experienced many children on the spectrum before. I have basic training and understanding of how to care for special needs children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My current nanny child (22 months) has been struggling developmentally with talking and expressions, etc. She is a very smart child but has never been very vocal when she was “supposed to be” development wise. She has recently started saying names such as her siblings. We’ve been trying to teach her the difference between mama and me because she’s mistakenly been calling me mama, but can’t quite get my name. She was able to get it so clearly the other day and we were absolutely thrilled. She’s been very talkative and vocal since then and the progress she’s shown is incredible. She’s shown me that the “developmental timeline” is not the same for every child and it doesn’t have to be. Shes allowed me to accept that it is okay if someone takes a little more time to grasp something than someone else. This has been my absolute favorite nanny experience so far!
