Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My most relevant experience, I was a nanny to a now 3 year old boy for 2 years, when I met the family he was 19 months old. My previous experience also includes; nannying 3 children while attending college. This job lasted from February 1, 2021 to June 25, 2021. The eldest child was 5 years old and the two younger children were 2 year old twins. I have also babysat for family and friends throughout my late teens to early 20s.

The most important part about being a nanny is not only caring for the children you nanny but teaching them how to be a kind/good person. It’s about showing them how to be patient and caring to not only themselves but to others too.

I’ve cared for children with autism and who have had a hard time with learning or speaking. I know sign-language and how to handle uncomfortable situations for a child with sound/light sensitivity. I have experience with children who have Down syndrome.

My favorite moment while nannying was when the 2 year old down syndrome boy I nanny started to walk for the first time. I was the most adorable and happiest moment I've ever gotten to witness.
