More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My journey in childcare began with caring for my younger siblings, several of whom are neurodivergent. This early experience helped me develop a strong foundation in understanding and supporting different developmental and emotional needs. As a parent to neurodivergent children, including one with autism, I’ve continued to deepen my ability to provide compassionate, individualized care.
Professionally and personally, I’ve supported children through a wide range of experiences, including navigating sensitive topics like parental separation and various forms of trauma. I’m comfortable managing routines that include medication monitoring and understand the importance of consistency and communication. These experiences have shaped my calm, empathetic approach and given me the tools to support children in a way that respects their unique challenges and strengths.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
…are the ones that spark creativity, curiosity, and joy! I love getting hands-on with arts and crafts, puzzles, and model building—activities that encourage focus and imagination. Cooking and baking together is always a favorite; it’s not only fun but also a great way to teach practical skills and teamwork. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, gardening, playing sports, or swimming, helping kids stay active and connected to nature. I also find joy in reading stories, exploring musical instruments, and finding little adventures in everyday moments. I tailor activities to each child’s interests, making sure they feel engaged, encouraged, and empowered to try new things.
The most important part about being a nanny...
…is building a relationship based on trust, safety, and genuine connection. Children thrive when they feel seen, heard, and supported, and I believe a nanny plays a key role in creating that foundation. It’s not just about supervision—it’s about nurturing their emotional well-being, encouraging their curiosity, and providing a steady, compassionate presence in their lives. Being a nanny means showing up consistently with patience, empathy, and flexibility, and adapting to each child’s unique needs while partnering with families to support their values and routines.
