A little bit about me

I'm 21 years old and originally from Minnesota. I've been going to school for the past four years at the University of South Dakota. I will be graduating in May with an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse), and plan to work as a nurse after summer! I would love to be a summer nanny one last time before I start my healthcare career! I've been a summer nanny for a family in Minnesota for the past two years, caring for a 3, 5, and 6 year old (4, 6, and 7 this last year) and loved every second! We also added another child (6 years old) from down the street, so I have experience caring for many children at once. I have enjoyed working collectively with parents, managing food prep, household cleaning, and taking the kiddos to practices. I have had about five years of babysitting experience prior to getting a full time nanny career. I also have training for CPR, BLS, and First Aid, along with nursing experience in both Neonatal and Pediatric units.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I've a very active person myself, so I love to get outside and play with the kids as much as possible. I've loved going to the library or zoo, and have experience with managing play dates for the kiddos (whether thats dropping them off, staying with them, or having their friend come over!). When the weather isn't the greatest, I like to incorporate art, activities to learn, or teach the kiddos a little yoga!
