A little bit about me

My name is Cecilia. I am 17 years old, turning 18 this April. I finished school just this past January. I have been driving since I was 14 and I own my own car. I have also worked in fast food since I was 14 and I love getting to meet all the people that come in and make connections with them. I love working with kids, for two years now I have helped my mother babysit my 2 year old cousin, watching and learning how to care for him as well as babysitting my 10 and 11 year old cousins on occasions. Some of my interests include, playing the violin, being outside in nature, roller blading, and painting/drawing. I am open to new adventures. I like to be observant and learn about what kind of personalities and interest others have to match their energy and make connections with them.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I help babysit my almost 3 year old cousin 3-4 days a week. This is our second year, so I know how to care for a baby, including changing diapers and helping potty train. I would also babysit my other cousins ages 10 and 11, so I have experience with different ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I babysit my 2 year old cousin, I like to play with him and let him use his imagination. I enjoy getting to take him out shopping with me or taking him to the library to make new friends and play. When I babysit my 10 and 11 year old cousins I like to play board games and am open to whatever they suggest, I also like to take them to the park or somewhere to roller skate with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think that the most important part about being a nanny or babysitter, is treating them as if they were your own, and giving them all the love they deserve. Being someone that they can have fun with, and yet will respect and go too when they need.
