I am Originally from South Africa, where I gained foundational experience working in daycares and volunteering at a local orphanage, I moved to the United States three years ago to serve as an au pair. During that time, I managed the daily routines for a 2-year-old and an 8-year-old, handling everything from school commutes and educational play to meal prep and bedtime routines. My experience also includes specialized care for infants and newborns, including a year spent caring for one-month-old twins.

I remember taking the children on a snow day in Lake Tahoe.
The ground was covered in freshly fallen snow and we decided to go sledding and I showed them how to do ice skating.
We made snow angels and tried making a snow man but it's really hard when the children keep on trying to eat the snowmen. But at the end we had a deformed snowmen with little bits taking out of him and his carrot nose.
Afterwards we had freshly made hot chocolate in front of the fireplace all snuggled up in a blanket watching how the grinch stole Christmas.
