I enjoy taking photos and videos to send to mom and dad to keep them connected to their children’s activities during our day together. I give the children space to observe, explore and process their world.
I have many favorite moments. Recently, my 9 year old boy came home in a huff. (He’s always been a bit of a rascal!) Some item of his was broken on the way home from school. I asked him if he remember the story I told him about a certain childhood frustration of mine. I asked him to tell me the story. He remembered fully. I told him I understood how he felt. As I left at the end of the my day, I received a “Good-bye. I love you nanny!”
