Hi my name is Chryslyn Joseph, I’m a senior Psychology major at Texas A&M looking to go into teaching and eventually doctor care related social work. I have a lot of experience working with kids. Both of my parents are teachers, while I have worked in a nursery, a childcare center caring for kids from 2mo old to the age of 12, as a girls summer camp counselor, and I currently sub for the schools here in CSISD. I love singing, theatre, and I play multiple instruments. I also love reading and video games. I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun together!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’m a substitute teacher for CSISD and have been for two years now, I worked at The Nurturing Nest Childcare Center in Killeen Texas, caring for 90+ kids aged 2mo- 12 years, and I spent the summer working at Camp Honey Creek in Hunt Texas.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to sing and dance. I play guitar and ukulele and love pkaying for my littles! I also like watching movies and grew up in a house where we play a lot of video games if they like that. I also love to read and play outside with them. I’m down to run around and play whatever they want!

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with nonverbal and autistic children in my time at the Nurturing Nest and at Camp Honey Creek

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment working in childcare would probably be when a child I was watching took his first steps while I was in the room, and showed his mom by holding my hand and eventually Letting go and walking over to her himself.
