Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

over two years working as an au pair, where I was responsible for the daily care, safety, and development of young children, as well as several years of prior experience caring for children in my home country.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

include going on daily walks, taking them on outings, attending community center activities, and having picnics outdoors to encourage exploration and social interaction. I also enjoy creating fun and engaging indoor activities such as music sessions, dancing, arts and crafts, reading stories, and other creative games at home. I like to support children’s learning and development through play, while also making sure they feel safe, happy, and encouraged in a positive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is helping children grow into independent individuals while also teaching them to say please and thank you, to be kind and gentle with others, and to develop strong values of respect, gratitude, and empathy. I believe it is also important to support their emotional development, encourage their curiosity, and help them build confidence so they can express themselves and grow in a healthy and positive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

was when the baby started saying her first words in Spanish and began to love music and dancing. Another special moment was her first day of school, when I accompanied her to the bus and she was so happy. It made me feel that the two years I spent caring for her, and later her little sister, truly paid off. I was able to see her grow into a more independent child who started enjoying helping with cooking and cleaning. By the age of three, she had become very independent and confident.
