Hi there! My name is Emily, I’m 21 years old and I have many years of childcare experience with a passion in education!
I have years of childcare experience babysitting my younger sisters who are 8 & 12 years younger than me. I began professionally babysitting at the age of 15 one summer. I worked for a wonderful family and they had 3 children ages 10mo, 3 years, and 6 years old. I would watch these kids for ten hours a day. I fed them, changed diapers, prepared crafts, sang songs, danced, helped with homework and loved on these kids all day!
I currently work in a daycare facility as a part-time infant teacher and soon to be part time 3 year old teacher as well! I have enjoyed gaining experience by working alongside teachers for the past 9 months. I am mainly in the nursery, so I change diapers, rock babies to sleep, sing to them, feed them, etc. With the 3 year olds, we sing and dance, have outside time, have educational circle time, and play in small groups.
