One of my favorite nanny moments was when a little one I cared for was feeling upset and wouldn’t play. I sat with them, told a silly story, and we ended up laughing together. By the end of the morning, they were smiling, building towers with me, and giving the biggest hug. Moments like that remind me why I love being with children and connecting with them.
