The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the kids have somewhere to go. Being that kid who has to sit and wait outside the school for an hour for a parent or have to have a different sitter each day is upsetting and confusing to young kids. I think having a nanny can help out the parents a lot and help the kids with a smoother at home time.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with some special needs kids in my line of work currently but not one on one. The kids I have worked with have been kids with learning disabilities and kids with speech issues. They have always been the sweetest and I understand it is harder for some kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have not been a nanny but since working with kids is when they say the most ridiculous things or ask the craziest questions! some of my favorite questions is “Gabby why are you 100 years old?” or “How do you have glasses but are not blind?”
