I have been the Nanny for six families, and helped to raise 19 great children, since 2007.
Prior to 2007, I worked primarily in offices, as a receptionist or as inside sales/marketing, from 1993 to 2007. I also worked part-time on horse farms for 20+ years.
I started college at Bowling Green, but my father passed away suddenly and unexpectedly and I moved back home to be with my Mom. I attended Sinclair as an Early Childhood Ed major, but had to get a job to help my Mom, so I didn't ever complete the degree.
My first real job after/during college was as a Preschool Teacher at Apple Tree Child Development Center on Woodman Dr in Dayton. I was there as a Teacher for five years.
And prior to that, from the age of 16 up to about 28, I was a babysitter, so pretty much all my life, I've got stores of experience. Infants all the way through teenagers. And beyond. The kids from my first family still call me for pet advice, and I still take care of their parents pets.

Parks, splash pads, Boonshoft, reading books, arts and crafts, board games, puzzles... I believe in fostering independent and creative play, and reading books every day.
