I’ve worked with children with a range of abilities, needs, and differences for over ten years. Most of my experience is with children with ASD, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, apraxia, AD(H)D, and OCD, as well as a range of physical abilities. I have worked as a caretaker, a teacher's aide, and a child development specialist in schools, in the community, and at home.

As a child development specialist, I offer families assistance through therapeutic play, caregiver coaching, implementing daily routines, supporting in the academic setting, help with family, and connecting with additional therapeutic services.

I’m trained and certified in DIR/Floortime, a child-centered, strengths-based, development-focused, relationship-based model for supporting children with special needs. I focus on following the child's lead, presuming competence, caregiver engagement, building safety and rapport, and tailoring support to the child's individual sensory needs.
