Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Inside, I love to do crafts with children and show them fun (age appropriate) science experiments. I also enjoy painting, playing games, and reading books.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Is that you are attentive to both the child’s and parent’s needs. Nanny’s should be good listeners and fast learners so that they can integrate seamlessly into the family dynamic. I think it is also important that a nanny be reliable and responsible so that a pattern of trust can be built with the family.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, so I have worked with special needs children in an educational setting before. I also have a 14 year old cousin who is Autistic, and I have been babysitting him since he was born. I feel very comfortable caring for children on the Autism spectrum.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was hearing recently from a family I nannied for over 5 years ago. They told me that their son is still incredibly interested in science and wants to be a Biologist when he grows up, largely because of the positive influence I had on him when I was his nanny. It always makes my heart so happy when I hear that all of the science experiments I did with him, zoo visits, and trips to the aquarium really “stuck” and ignited a fire and passion inside of a child. That is all I could really ask for! 🥰

Full-Time Nanny Available in San Francisco, CA: Genesis N.
Hi! I’m a CPR-certified mom to a 2-year-old daughter and I’m looking for a family that’s open to a nanny mom setup where my daughter can come with me. I genuinely enjoy being around kids and creating a calm, fun, home-like environment for them instead of just sitting inside all day.
I enjoy age-appropriate outdoor activities, parks, reading, learning through play, and engaging children in fun everyday activities, snack/lunch prep, and little adventure days. I also enjoy teaching younger kids simple things throughout the day like colors, shapes, counting, phonics, letters, and basic learning through play and everyday activities.
I’m naturally patient, nurturing, and very used to caring for toddlers full-time. I’d love to find a family that likes the idea of their child having companionship, outdoor experiences, learning, and a more warm and engaging environment throughout the day.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in San Francisco, CA: Marian S.
My name is Marian Solis and I just moved to the city of San Francisco searching for growth in my career as a neuroscientist here. I left my family that I nannied for about 3 years down in SoCal, and found that taking care of kids is my passion. I am currently nannying a family of 3 in the inner sunset, and I love them already so much. I also volunteer at an after school program where kids are taught how to cook food, and we help them out with homework and have a place to stay when they dont!
