Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Throughout my career, I have had several opportunities to care for children and develop the skills necessary to do so effectively. For 2-3 years, I worked as a gymnastics and dance teacher at a children's amusement center, where I taught classes for children aged 3-13 and helped facilitate activities such as birthday parties and day camps. This experience taught me how to manage large groups of children while creating a safe and engaging environment.
I also grew up in the Girl Scouts program, and spent 2-3 years serving as a camp counselor. In this role, I was responsible for supervising children, planning activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. I also briefly worked as a nanny for two children, where I provided basic care, planned activities, and engaged with the children in a fun and educational way.
More recently, I spent my last semester of college as a psychology practicum intern at a childcare center, which provided me with a lot of valuable experience.
