Hi, my name is Jessica!
I have over four years of direct experience with children of any age. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education and Early Childhood Education, and am also proficient in American Sign Language (ASL), which allows me to effectively communicate and connect with children who come from diverse cultures.
I have worked as an activity instructor at a summer camp for three wonderful years with children ranging from 1st grade to 9th grade. This job helped me develop the skill of working with different needs and personalities, building a safe, supportive, and fun environment. This past year, I worked as a private nanny for a family with three daughters: two high school twins and one first grader. Some of the responsibilities I performed were homework help and extracurricular activity coordination and after-school supervision. I enjoyed creating a balanced schedule of fun and productivity that appealed to both the children and the parents.
