"Kasey was an awesome Nanny who has turned into one of my best friends in life. Great person, great worth ethic, big heart. Will always look out for me in life even though she is no longer my Nanny. Another thing about Kasey is that she helped raise me alongside my parents. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a nanny to a family with 4 kids for over ten years. I would additionally keep 2 extra kids that were very close with the family. So oftentimes, I had five or six kids. Im still very close to the family. I have been a foster parent for the state of Louisiana , and it was very rewarding. I have a human service degree where I focused in psychology and mental health! I have worked with mental health youth in an intensive program. My role now is an activities director where I plan exciting activities to keep the kids engaged and having fun at a water park.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely enjoy singing, dancing and playing fun and interactive games! I love reading and making the stories come to life! I love being creative and watching the kids light up when they learn something new or do something that they thought they couldn't do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is to be a caring and fun person for the kids. It’s about building trust, making sure they feel safe, and helping them learn and play. Just being someone they can rely on and enjoy spending time with!

My experience with special needs children...

I have had experience with kids on the autism spectrum (different children on different levels, from non verbal to those higher functioning. I have also parented a young child with Type I diabetes.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments is hard to choose, but now that I’m in my 40s (cough cough 29 still) and the kids I cared for are in their twenties, it’s so rewarding to still be close with their family. I love reminiscing about all the fun memories we created together!
