A little bit about me

I'm an extremely loving, attentive and dedicated nanny of 20 years with experience as a preschool teacher and also a mother of 2 boys. I have experience with newborn up to 9yo. My current Nanny family I have been with for 4+ years and I have had multiple other long term positions: 4 years, 6 years and 2. 5 years. I'm a natural multitasker and have always cared for multiple children. I love having a huge part in shaping little minds as they grow, learn and experience so much of the world for the first time as well as take pride in being a big support for parents in the home (laundry, dishes etc.) I love painting and can paint a mural if there's down time! I'm happy to provide a very full resume w/ amazing references.
I have my CDA (Child Development Associate), 1st aid/CPR trained. I love all ages but would absolutely ADORE a nanny role with a new little babe! I'm available full time in July and 3 days/week from August on.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 4 years of preschool teaching experience from newborn to 5yo. Ive been assistant teacher as well as lead teacher in 2 and 3yo classrooms, ran Saturday care alone with all mixed ages as well as ran the childcare center at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando alone on the weekends mixed ages as well. Also I have two boys of my own, 18 months apart that are 7 and almost 9. They accompanied me to care for two other children when my oldest was 2 months until he was 4 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts and exploring outdoors as well as water play! I am very familiar with fun play places for kids of all ages in the area and love the beach as well! I love providing fun and safe ways for kiddos of all ages to explore the (new) world around them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing about being a nanny is giving a child a positive, loving and fun environment where they can grow and learn and make mistakes and still feel confident! Kiddos are naturally curious and we learn when we feel safe and we're having fun! I love showing them what a grand adventure this life is and what an amazing part of this world each little one is! I get to help change the world by helping shape little minds from the start! Also, since becoming a mother myself, I see just how busier our lives and households become and love supporting new parents through this change.

My experience with special needs children...

I am very patient, calm, loving and present and feel a comfortable connection with kids on the spectrum that I've had experiences with. No recent relevant experiences though.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments of all time are visiting my past nanny kids with kids of my own and watching them play, care for and love on one another!❤ Plus all the everyday fun a little one provides with their almost daily new skills and milestones! I love how quickly they grow and change!!
