"Kim is incredible with the kids. She is kind, patient, very safe, and has an excellent sense of what they need at any time. She was with our family for 3 years and helped our baby through all his milestones- social, physical, emotional and even potty training. She looked after our kids since they were 2.5 and 8 month old for 3 years.
Kim is always on time, reliable, a good driver, and very clean. She communicates well, and has really been a partner for us in helping raise the kids. Her musical experience is a plus- she helped our older son through his piano lessons and has got both kids into music. I could not recommend her more. She loves looking after young children and really is a unicorn nanny!"

The most important part of my job is being a safe adult that the kids can trust to always have their best interests at heart. I try to be an extension of the parents and reinforce the values and lessons that the parents express. A untied front as caregivers, and never undermining each other. One other huge thing that helps me in my work is a commitment to consistency and conscious expectation setting, even with young babies.
My experience with special needs children...
In a preschool/daycare setting I have cared for infants with Down syndrome and one infant with Williams syndrome. I’ve also had a handful or so of infants using helmet therapy for positional plagiocephaly or torticollis.

I love when toddlers meet other toddlers and make friends for the first time. It’s like all your coaching and play and care led them to that moment where they socialize with a peer and use the skills they learned. Then two new little people connect for the first time right before your eyes. Magical!
