Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Spending a sunny afternoon outdoors with the kids, exploring nature's wonders and creating lasting memories. We start our adventure with a nature scavenger hunt, armed with lists of items to find like colorful leaves, smooth rocks, and chirping birds. As we wander through the park, the children's excitement is palpable as they eagerly search for treasures, their curiosity sparking discussions about the world around them. Next, we unleash our inner artists with sidewalk chalk masterpieces, decorating the pavement with vibrant drawings and hopscotch designs. Laughter fills the air as we jump, skip, and twirl through the colorful creations. To cool off, we head to the nearby playground, where the kids let loose on the swings, slides, and jungle gyms, their boundless energy propelling them to new heights. It's moments like these that remind me of the joy and wonder of childhood, and I feel grateful to be part of their journey of discovery and delight.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is the deep sense of responsibility and trust that comes with caring for someone else's children. Beyond just providing basic care, a nanny plays a crucial role in shaping the lives of the children they care for. This responsibility entails creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. It involves building strong, trusting relationships with both the children and their parents, communicating effectively, and being attuned to the unique needs and personalities of each child. Being a nanny requires patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to various situations, as well as a genuine love for children and a commitment to their well-being and development. Ultimately, the most important part of being a nanny is the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the children in your care, helping them to feel loved, supported, and empowered as they navigate the world around them.
My experience with special needs children...
A couple of my younger nephews have autism and I am forever grateful to spend time with them and help them explore certain things.
The most important part about being a nanny...
While playing with the children in the backyard, we decided to have a mini-olympics competition. As we lined up for the first event, a spirited game of potato sack race, I couldn't help but join in on the fun. With my feet awkwardly tucked into the sack, I attempted to hop along with the kids, only to lose my balance and tumble headfirst into a pile of leaves! Amidst the laughter and cheers, I emerged from the leafy heap, slightly disheveled but with an even bigger smile on my face. We continued our 'olympics' with events like the egg-and-spoon race (cue the runaway eggs) and the three-legged race (where coordination was optional). It was a hilarious afternoon filled with laughter, friendly competition, and a few unexpected tumbles—proof that sometimes the best memories are made when you're willing to let go and join in the silliness.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Clovis, CA: Abigail W.
Hi! I’m a college student home for the summer with a flexible schedule and lots of availability for babysitting or nannying. I recently left for college for the first time after graduating high school, where I earned my high school diploma as well as a scholarship and completed my associate’s degree in Plant Science. I come from a family with three siblings, so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for kids and helping manage a busy household. I’ve also worked as a camp counselor leading activities like cooking, crafts, and woodworking, and have experience working with younger children in my church community. I’m responsible, patient, and reliable, and I’m comfortable with driving, running errands, and helping around the house. I’d love to support your family this summer!

Hello, my name is Hope! I love working with children and I have as a side job for the last 4 years. I have gone to one year of school at the Master’s University and there I competed on the swim team while studying Biblical Counseling. I recently started Dental Assistant school which is in the mornings so I am looking for afternoon work. I am 20 years old and I love to have fun with the kids! Whether that is an infant that I get the opportunity to take care of for a few hours or a 5 year old that I get to teach and play with, they are a joy to be around!
