Hi there! my name is Leanna, I am 24 years old, and I come from a family of 10 and have 7 other siblings, so I am definitely used to a busy and fun home haha, I have always loved being around family and kids, and I have always had a happiness and drive to be around kids as it makes me so happy as one day my dream is to become a mom, I am very patient and will make sure any kids I’ve been around feel safe and in good care, I am happy to answer any questions about my prior experience working around kids, I’ve done it for most of my life as I started babysitting and working at churches with kids ever since I was a young teenager.And have experience with ages from infant to early teen ages, I am happily willing to work any hours necessary, I have a car and can take kids to and from school. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked for many families not counting my own haha, I worked for churches watching and teaching kids , had connections and cared for a family with an infant baby and toddler for a year, I did stop in recent years since I was in college and took on a different job, though It was a great opportunity watching and caring for kids is the my ultimate dream job :)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I myself love family outings so I am always happy to take the kids in my care to parks and on walks, I also take them to more exciting activities such as indoor bouncy houses if the parents are comfortable with that as I know the kids in my care are my responsibility and I will ensure upmost safety, I am a very outgoing person so to go out of the house every once in a while is very important especially for the kids so they can enjoy being outdoors instead of being stuck inside and the tv all day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me it’s the time spent with someone’s child I value any parents as it is one of the hardest things though the most rewarding from what I have seen, I love seeing the families come home and see their child happy and just as a child should be, there’s nothing better than a family and the relationship you have with kids and the parents, I value it all, I am very easygoing and also want any family I come across and get to be around to know that my intentions are to treat your children as best as I can, and to build a trusting bond with the entire family, I know leaving your child in someone’s care can seem scary but I assure you, I will always do my best to keep your trust and to let you know that I will always be around your kids and not just ignoring them or sitting in on my phone or the tv.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve cared for a child with autism, and they were very smart and would express their needs in different ways but it was still very easy to understand, I am willing to watch your child if they have any physical needs and am willing to be extra patient with them:)

The most important part about being a nanny...

I remember a couple years ago when I was watching a toddler and she was always so goofy and silly, we went to the playground and she said something to one of the kids in the park, just a very sassy personality, so I laughed for such a long time, kids say the funniest things and it’s the cutest thing ever haha.
