A little bit about me

Caring for children has always come naturally to me. I grew up helping raise my two younger brothers, and since then, I’ve become a trusted babysitter for neighbors, family friends, and children ages 3 to 14. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Health and plan to pursue a Master's in Social Work. Professionally, I’ve worked as a Social Emotional Learning teacher for children with special needs—an experience that taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of meeting each child where they are.
Over the past few years, I’ve cared for kids of all ages, from infants to teens. I enjoy engaging them through music, board games, learning activities, and creative play. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified, and I always prioritize safety, emotional support, and open communication. I created lesson plans that helped students learn more about coping strategies, friendships, empathy, learning skills, etc.
